OVERWHELMING TURNOUT

Recap of Aug 28 Scoping Session

On August 28, the County of Riverside's Director's Meeting Scoping Session discussed and took public comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for Citrus Valley Specific Plan 400. THANK YOU to the overwhelming amount of people who attended, watched remotely, and spoke on behalf of Oppose Citrus Valley Development. YOUR WORDS POWERFULLY urged the county's consideration to reject this intense, 767 acre, 6,300 home, high-density urban development in the middle of Valle Vista's citrus groves – an area protected by the General Plan as an open space, rural agrarian community, located miles from jobs, roads and infrastructure required to support such a development.
